I know im essentially giving into what Bettman, the players, and owners all wanted and i attempted to pretend that i don't care about hockey being gone. Then i realized that i have nothing to watch in the winter besides college basket ball and they don't play that often. (go Spartans) So i guess i'm back in full force. The season is expected to begin the 19th and i'm already excited, should be a really interesting year for the wings esp. with the shortened season.

THanks for everything Homer, but i think this is the right call just no room on the roster for him any longer. I bet even he would be surprised by how long he lasted in the NHL considering he was never even supposed to make the league.
 
Hockey is amazing. Through each lockout I have stayed a fan, because I love the sport. I love the kinds of people the players are for the most part, the sport still feels true and pure.
 
36 days until pitchers and catchers report and they play their first game on Feb 22 I believe. No thanks, I'm good.
 
I can't wait either..With no more Delmon and VMart back and no more freakin' Inge it's all good.

Oh good i love games against Columbus... at least they should be easy points. I have always felt the NHL plays to many division games. proximity does not create rivalries winning does.

And ya i was amazed by that shot, i don't even know how you get that idea in your head to try that, hence why he is in the NHL and i am behind my computer.
