"Milton Bradley has been charged with abusing his estranged wife and faces up to 13 years in jail if convicted."

~snip~

"Bradley’s attorney, Harland Braun, says his client denies the charges and contends that his wife made up the allegations."

Yeah, suuure...Game Board made nearly $$50MM in his baseball career, that ain't exactly "Monopoly" money, and with that kinda fat bankroll, he should have just left their home and maybe rented a nice hotel room for a day or two, or until things cooled down a bit between him and the wife. But instead, he decided to repeatedly roll the derangement dice until he inevitably landed on the board space requiring him to pick up a Chance card:

Maybe his wife could have "made up" the allegations against him once or twice, but not when it involves five different incidents, including four counts of spousal battery, four counts of criminal threats, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, (a knife and of course, a baseball bat :bat:) two counts of vandalism and one count of dissuading a witness from making a report.

Didn't he also attack his own 1st base coach once?

Dunno, can't find anything mentioning him ever attacking any of his many 1B coaches online, but this is the closest from Bradley's Wiki page:

On September 23, 2007, however, he tore his right ACL while being restrained by Padres manager Bud Black during an altercation with first base umpire Mike Winters. Home plate umpire Brian Runge reportedly told Bradley that Winters said that he had tossed his bat in Runge's direction in a previous at-bat. After Bradley reached first base, he questioned Winters about the alleged bat throwing and subsequent communication with Runge. According to Bradley and Padres first base coach Bobby Meacham, Winters addressed Bradley with a profanity. Bradley then moved towards Winters. While restrained by Black, Bradley fell to the ground and injured himself. He missed the last week of the regular season in 2007, during which the Padres lost to the Colorado Rockies in a one game playoff for the National League Wild Card on October 1.

Winters was suspended for the remainder of the season and disqualified from the postseason for the incident, after MLB determined that he had indeed directed obscene language toward Bradley. Bradley was not suspended, MLB finding no need for such discipline since he did not make physical contact with Winters.

Oh ok, that's what it was, he was attacking an umpire and the coach tackled him.

MLB Network opened this story with "Milton Bradley..." and my thought was "what did he get arrested for?" I know it's bad, but...

He didn't tackle him if I remember, he was just holding him back and all of a sudden Bradley's ACL ripped and he fell to the ground.
