The defensive unit has been surprisingly good this year. I'm glab Babs finally figured out that White and Quincey were the weak links and has played them appropriately. Lashoff has been very good. Jakub Kindl, a player many fans seemed to want to give up on after one rookie season, has been fantastic. Smith has been very good as expected. Big E and Kronwall have both been good. This is a surprisingly good unit.

Ya, this group has really come together recently. That's a very good sign for the future as most of these guys are still pretty young. It was a struggle for the first part of the year, injuries as well as the transition from having #5 anchor the blue line every player had to find their role. It seems that most have settled in and have been playing well.
