Pistons vs @ Heat...so will the Pistons prevail somehow and end their 9-game losing streak vs @ the hottest team in the NBA? It would be their second win in a row vs Miami, who began their now 24-game winning streak a little more than a month after losing to the Pistons 109-99 on the road.

Miami needs to win 10 more games in a row to break the NBA record of 33 consecutive wins that was set by the LA Lakers 1971-72.

Probably not...but it would immediately become a classic Trivial Pursuit sports question if it was to happen.

I could care less about an NBA win streak. Sick of all these news articles all over the web.

Pistons led by 3 @ halftime, but faded down the stretch, mainly due to only scoring 14 points in the 3rd period...sigh. They aren't a very good team as yet and still have a lot of work to do before they might become very competitive again, much less contend for a playoff position.
