Well...that didn't take long...seeya ricKKKK...dlol.

If the laughingstock lastros don't want ya,then most likely no other ballclub will, either.

The entire team with few exceptions (altuve, corporan, lyles, norris) might as well be DFAed along with him.

Astros designate Rick Ankiel for assignment

Some guy posted this:

Can’t MLB just designate the Astros for assignment? That would solve lots of problems.

The notion that an the AL West has a patsy to pummel to fatten their W/L is vexing. Not that the Tigers should be concerned about competing for a WC, but some other team from the AL East or Central might be affected if, say, Oakland or Seattle beats the Astros all 12 times they play.

Them the breaks. Its not like we haven't been in the same boat playing KC when they were the doormat.
Or when Detroit went 43-119.

Agreed. Maybe it's because the AL West's patsy was inherited and not home grown, and it would be helpful if the balance were more even, say 60 divisional games, 80 non-divisional games and 22 inter-league games.

You'd still play almost 2X the games in division compared to out of division.

Yet, it is not lost on me that DET-HOU play 7 times this season.

We should just be happy the other ALC teams aren't huge spenders. Not a guarantee to succeed but at times it helps. As much as the A's and Angels have a little advantage, they also have to play Texas more..We don't have a Texas type in our division.
