it would be great if we could land a few big names for 2014, have some one and done high picks along with Payne and Harris.

unfortunately for us, elite high school players don't particularly care that much about final fours and big ten titles, they care more about draft position.

Really? We have 3 McDonald's All Americans and another 5 yar recruit on this year's roster. I think we get elite talent.

2014 is critical for us with 4-5 spots open, there are a lot of elite players in the Midwest, we really need a good haul. we've been striking out with the top 10 guys for a while, the last one was roe at #8. I know the rankings aren't everything but it will be disappointing to get shut out on booker, alexander, jones, okafor, looney, considering the disappointment of 2013

when it comes to top ten players, we're up against Kentucky and with that comes world wide wes on the bench and the shady dealings with AAU coaches and cash payouts. that hurt us with James Young and it might cost us Cliff Alexander. if we could get a few guys to go in the first round and potentially in the lottery, that would help us when it comes to recruiting against the real heavyweights (UK, KU, Duke).

Kansas is very shady too, getting off to a hot start and having guys projected high in the draft will help us a lot
