Grand Rapids West Catholic (9-4) vs. Menominee (13-0)
overall since 1950
GRWC..........316-178-5 (since 1978)
Menominee....376-195-5

GRCC class size is 439 and they again did it again. Stared out slow (1-3) last year, and
1-4 this year playing bigger competition only to run off huge wining streaks to the title game. Points for/against are 424/278 with zero shutouts with a bend but don't break defense. Not really challenge in the playoffs they got revenge on Portland in round one who they lost to the d-5 title game last year.. The also won the title in 2009 as GRCC always does well in the playoffs. Just look at the three teams they lost to start the season.. damn good teams.

Menominee class size is 501. They are a UP and state of Michigan football power house that has reined terror in Wisconsin and Michigan up their. last titles were the back to back ones in 2006/07 and they make deep runs in most years.. if you get a chance to watch any High school games this week treat yourself to this game as you will see the Maroons and single wing football.
(if they still do)..It really is fun to watch.
Points for/against 631/168 and their defense has 2 shutouts as they average 45.7 points a game.. They were not really pushed in the playoffs and they thumped Muskegon Oakridge in the semi-finals 59-28..GRCC lost to them in week one 31-25..I know week one.

I know GRCC plays tougher schedule in this public verses private school battle
The maroons play 4 teams from Wisconsin way up there.. Both teams had easy runs in the playoffs.. I think the maroons offense will outscore the Falcons.
Single wing by 7...
