why isn't he being considered for some of the openings elsewhere in the NBA??? Knicks, Cavs, etc

Because he is a shitty coach and everyone knows it.
The Warriors underachieved based on their talent level under Jackson and the increased wins were a product of the talent level and managements moves, most notably Iguodala, trading for Andrew Bogut, drafting Steph Curry and Klay Thompson who are a top backcourt in the NBA.
He was gifted an excellent roster to work with and didn't maximize it.
