Good article on the Big Ten & why it does NOT need to expand into a super-conference:

http://thequad.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/09/19/the-geography-of-college-football-fans-and-realignment-chaos/

The Big Ten currently has the top 3 college football markets, has 7 of the top 20 college football markets, and 9 of the top 30.

Compare this to the all-mighty SEC:
The SEC currently has 0 of the top 3 college football markets, has 4 of the top 20 college football markets, and 8 of the top 30.
(sorry, Tennessee!)

Compare this to the ACC:
The ACC currently has 0 of the top 3 college football markets, has 4 of the top 20 college football markets, and 4 of the top 30.

Compare this to the Big 12:
The Big 12 currently has 0 of the top 3 college football markets, has 3 of the top 20 college football markets, and 4 of the top 30.

Compare this to the PAC12:
The PAC12 currently has 0 of the top 3 college football markets, has 1 of the top 20 college football markets, and 2 of the top 30.

Compare this to the Big East:
The Big East currently has 0 of the top 3 college football markets, has 0 of the top 20 college football markets, and 1 of the top 30.

(And FUCK! the SEC. Michigan dominates their asses anyway. SORRY, Ohio State, you do not.)
