32nd Expansion

Too many teams already. Enough with watering down the product. There’s about 5 or 6 franchises that shouldn’t exist.

Cougars was original name used by Detroit (26-30).
Eagles really close to Falcons used by Detroit (30-32
Firebirds used by Flint Firebirds of the OHL (2015 - present)
Seals previously used by Oakland 67-70 and later California Golden Seals 70-76
Whales sounds similar to the Whalers previously used by Hartford (79-97) and Plymouth/Detroit Whalers of the OHL (95-15)

IIRC it was same owner of Hartford and Plymouth/Detroit Whalers.

Plymouth Whalers became the Flint Firebirds after the team was sold by Karmanos.

Wonder if these are just coincidences or someone from Detroit area is coming up with some of these potential names.

Seattle Duwamps ..

Don't really see Seattle as a hockey city.

Seattle silly sticks

I can't think of anything. I like Emeralds from the list.

I like the last 2 you guys suggested.

Silly Sticks would be amazing.
