Now in his third year as Detroit Lions general manager, Martin Mayhew says the team put together by himself, Head Coach Jim Schwartz and President Tom Lewand is ready to compete for the division.
 
I'm just glad we don't have an idiot running the team anymore.... Mayhew and Lewand have done a good job so far.... It's nice to finally have a few draft picks sticking around and contributing nowadays....
