Wings are playing the Capitals right now in Washington. Both teams are undefeated and are playing great hockey...

Detroit is on the back end of a back to back, whereas Washington had yesterday off.

Conklin gets the start - I have no problem with that...he is a solid backup and we need to keep Howard fresh down the stretch.

Mike Green scores on a WSH power play.

Capitals up 1-0 w/ 6:00 to go in the first

Johannsen roofs a shot on off of a Detroit turnover...

Washington up 2-0

Mike Green scores from the point on a Washington PP.

Caps up 3-0 w/ 15 min left in the 2nd.

Wings need to find a way to put the puck in the net.

Kronwall rips a shot from the point to score on a 5-3 PP.

Wings get a much needed goal.

3-1 Caps

Conklin lets in a weak shot...terrible goal to let in with 07.2 seconds left in the 2nd.

Wings had some momentum going in that period and Conklin ruined it with that freebie goal...

Caps up 4-1 at the second intermission

Caps with a bang bang pass 5-1

Safe to say this game is over..
