Wings are playing the Capitals right now in Washington. Both teams are undefeated and are playing great hockey...

Detroit is on the back end of a back to back, whereas Washington had yesterday off.

Conklin gets the start - I have no problem with that...he is a solid backup and we need to keep Howard fresh down the stretch.

Washington up 2-0

Wings need to find a way to put the puck in the net.

Wings get a much needed goal.

Conklin lets in a weak shot...terrible goal to let in with 07.2 seconds left in the 2nd.

Wings had some momentum going in that period and Conklin ruined it with that freebie goal...
