To Get to 85 wins

This is as of last night (b4 Cleveland won):

To reach 85 wins: Detroit must go 26-25. Cleveland must go 31-23. Chicago must go 33-20. Twins must go 33-19.
 
I remember playing this game back in 2009...Never again

looks good to me. Hopefully we can get a few series sweeps in here somewhere and make it easy on ourselves.

btw, i'm glad you signed up. I saw your new post on ESPN and was about to message you. Had no idea that was how we became "the tigers". Welcome.

DET last 51 games = 26-25
CLE last 53 games = 22-31
CHW last 52 games = 25-27

I really believe MIN is out of it. They have to overtake 3 teams. Same could be true for the Sox. It really is the Tigers' to lose.
 
I predicted 85 wins before the season and I'm not letting up... I think 85 wins actually wins the division.. Weakest in a long time..
 
Texas just tied it up!!! Cleveland's closer gave up a knock to Young with Hamilton on.
 
Rangers spoil Ubaldo's debut with a 2 run rally in the 9th and the winner in 11....we are back to 4 games up!!

I am sure you all have seen this but I think it bears to be posted but the tigers are 4 games up on the tribe and are 8 games above .500 and if we sweep KC could possibly be the hottest team in baseball (maybe I am getting a little to far ahead), with a win today I think a sweep should be on the horizon

I think the Yankees would have something to say about that.
 
Looking at our schedule I think we win 89 games. the Fister trade is really going to work out well for us the rest of this season and with the way Porcello is pitching I don't see why we wouldn't win more like 30 of our remaining games. I think by season's end it's going to be a difficult choice between Fister and Porcello for the #3 spot and that would be a good problem to have.

I like your enthusiasm, but for the Tigers to get 100 wins, we need to go 39-9 the rest of the way.

Sorry, I wish, but we're just not that good.

95 wins would be 34-14, and even that is a huge stretch.

86-89 wins would be my guess, of course it's just as much of a guess as yours.
 
I just want a division title.... ( and then maybe a deep playoff run..)...LOL
