Apparently they wanted to restructure his contract to lessen his cap hit for this year so they extended him an extra two years to prorate the bonus longer. Raiders CB Stanford Routt has restructured his three-year, $31.5 million contract.With the Raiders over the salary cap, Routt has reportedly "(reallocated ) the majority" of his $10 million 2011 base salary into a roster bonus. As payback, the Raiders have added two years to his deal and bumped its total value to an incredible $54.5 million. It's currently unclear if it includes any new guaranteed money, however.
