Just a listing of what games could have an effect on each of the positions in both conferences

1st round bye - NFC - San Francisco and New Orleans
San Francisco - A win guarantees them the spot
New Orleans - Needs a win and a SF loss

Both teams play at 1pm (Car @ NO, SF @ St.L)

NFC East division title - 4th seed - Dallas and NY Giants
They play each other, whoever wins gets in, the loser is out

The game starts at 8:20pm

5th/6th seed - NFC - Atlanta and Detroit
Detroit - A win guarantees them the 5th seed
Atlanta - Needs a win and a Detroit loss to get the 5th seed

Detroit plays at 1pm (Det @ GB), Atlanta plays at 4pm (TB @ Atl)

Home-field advantage throughout - 1st seed - AFC - New England, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore
New England - A win guarantees them the 1st seed
Pittsburgh - To get the 1st seed they need to win, NE needs to lose, and Baltimore needs to lose
Baltimore - Needs to win and NE loss to get the 1st seed (holds the head to head tiebreaker over Pittsburgh)

Scenarios
NE wins - NE 1st seed
NE loses, Pittsburgh wins or loses, Baltimore wins - Baltimore 1st seed
NE loses, Pittsburgh wins, Baltimore loses - Pittsburgh 1st seed
NE loses, Pittsburgh loses, Baltimore loses - NE 1st seed

Baltimore holds the strength of victory tiebreaker over the Patriots
Pittsburgh holds the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Patriots

NE plays at 1pm (Buf @ NE), Pittsburgh and Baltimore play at 4pm (Bal @ Cin, Pit @ Cle)

1st round bye - 2nd seed - AFC - New England, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore
If NE wins, the AFC North winner gets the 2nd seed
If NE loses the AFC North winner won, NE gets the 2nd seed
Whoever finishes worse between Baltimore and Pittsburgh gets the 5th seed

AFC North division title
Baltimore holds the head-to-head tiebreaker over Pittsburgh
Simply put, if one team wins and one loses, the winner gets the division, if they both win or both lose, Baltimore wins the division
Whoever finishes lower between the two gets the 5th seed

Both play at 4pm (Bal @ Cin, Pit @ Cle)

AFC West division title - 4th seed - Denver and Oakland
Denver holds the tiebreaker over Oakland in win % in common games
Whoever finishes with the better record wins the West, if they both lose or both win, Denver wins the division
Division winner gets the 4th seed

Both play at 4pm (KC @ Den, SD @ Oak)

Last wild card spot - 6th seed - AFC - Cincinnati, Oakland, NY Jets, Tennessee
This could get tricky
If Cincinnati wins, they're in

If Cincinnati loses, the following scenarios could play out (listed by how said team gets in)
Note: Denver cannot get this WC spot, if Denver wins they win the AFC West, if they lose they're out of the playoffs

Oakland wins
Only occurs if Denver wins, otherwise Oakland wins the NFC West and this spot goes to another team...Oakland has the Strength of Victory tiebreaker over Tennessee and NY Jets, and conference record over the Bengals

Tennessee wins
Requires a Denver or Oakland loss
They will hold the tiebreaker over NY Jets on win % in common games and conference record over Cincinnati

NY Jets win
Requires a Denver or Oakland AND Tennessee loss
They will hold the tiebreaker over Cincinnati based on conference record

Simplified chart
Cincinnati wins - 6th seed Cincinnati
Cincinnati loses
Denver, Oakland, Tennessee, NY Jets win - 6th seed Oakland
Oakland, Tennessee, NY Jets win, Denver loses - 6th seed Tennessee
NY Jets win, Tennessee and Denver or Oakland lose - 6th seed NY Jets
NY Jets, Tennessee, and Denver or Oakland lose - 6th seed Cincinnati

Tennessee and NY Jets play at 1pm (Ten @ Hou, NYJ @ Mia), Denver, Oakland, and Cincinnati play at 4pm (KC @ Den, SD @ Oak, Bal @ Cin)
