Family called to the hospital.

What a tragic way to go out. Farewell Joe Pa.

Yep...JoePa...RIP

Joe Paterno, revered coach tainted by scandal, dies.

Kinda like when his college football coaching career controversially bit the gridiron turf, so did his will to live, apparently. At least he managed to live a very long and quite prosperous and successful life, while basking in the adoration of tens if not hundreds of thousands of mostly Penn St football fans and alums. Joe Pa did not have to spend much time at all, in dealing with the ensuing public outrage, and his indirect involvement in the scandalous aftermath of his ex-DC and now notorious pedophile Jerry Sandusky being arrested and his eventual trial.

Tragic way to go out, but you can't deny that a lot of that wsa his own doing... Still RIP out of respect..
