He won the toss and even though 5 or 6 other guys were listed by the TV broadcast as the favorites to be picked first Chara said he has loved they way Pavel play's and he deserves to be picked number one... Congrats to PD..
 
Good to see him getting the kind of recognition he deserves. He's third in points despite being one of the only guys that consistently plays the penalty kill. It is high time Pavel was rewarded for being more valuable than the many snipers or one-dimensional point-men that he hangs with in the point standings.
 
Best player in the league goes number 1, that's how it should work. Congrats Pavel, most deserving.
