Gawain Jonstone is an internet sensation and it looks like he will probably be a walk on for us in 2012, he'll have 4 years of eligibility. He may never see the field, but he's an interesting recruit from Australia who is 26 years old.

He squats 850 lbs, benches 550, and has a 31" vertical. Looks like he's a good athlete too and you wonder if after a couple years they could make a player out of him. Coaches want him to lose at least 20-30 lbs so he could play at around 340-350.

Sounds interesting, but there a lot of Muscle heads out there that can't play a lick. We'll see what magic Narduzzi can muster here.

Yeah, I doubt this guy does much of anything, but he's visited State and met the coaches so they must see something they like and he must have made a good impression.

Awesome if he turns into anything good, no loss if not. Like others have said, there are a lot of power lifters who can barely play sports. Hopefully this guys is a special case. I hope he does well enough to play a little, if only because it would be highly amusing to see him forget what's going on and just pick up the O-lineman in front of him and start doing squats.

He's run a 5.2 forty, which for a guy his size is not bad at all.
