Jonathan Ericsson out a month

Detroit also lost defenseman Jonathan Ericsson for about a month because of a broken left wrist sustained in the second period when he was hit by a puck.

This is what has happened to us the last few years.. We always seem to pile up the injuries toward the end of the season.. we need this trend to stop if we want to win the cup back..

Im glad we got KQ now because the loss of ericsson would have killed this team. Now we just rotate Kindl back in with KQ.

Having to play Kindl for a month might kill this team. He has been brutal the last few months. Ericsson being out doesn't really kill the team either though. I wish he would play more physically he is our biggest defense-man but is constantly losing battles to players much smaller than him. He also should be a much bigger hitter than he is, i dont just mean the number of hits but he should bring Kronwall like pain to ppl with his size and you almost never see it with him.
