Pistons acquire the great BILL LAIMBEER from the Cavs. 1982-2012.

*hard fouls table in respect*

If I'm not mistaken, Vinny Johnson came in the trade as well. Or at least at the same time.

Thirteen season's in a row of 80+ games.. 81.3 to be exact. His 14th season he only played in 11 games. He hit all 82 games seven times. 81 he hit four times. 80 he hit twice, and in his 13th season he played 79 games.

from the 1982-83 season to the 1987-88 season he started and played in all 82 games each season for a 492 games started and played streak in a row and the next two seasons after that it was 81 games played and started in each. Pretty freaking amazing..

He was a great player. He wasnt the most talented guy on the floor but he did what he had to do to win. And he was one tough SOB. He really fit the town. Hard nosed hard working blue collar guy. And he was one hell of a coach for the Shock. I really think when he finally gets a chance to coach in the NBA he will win.

Yeah I just don't understand why Joe D. did not give him a shot at coaching Detroit the last couple of seasons before Frank.
