Thought maybe he deserves another look based on his defense. His offense alone was not Hall worthy, but with defense...perhaps?

I liked Dewey but not even close. He was a heck of a RF but no way defense makes up for it. He was a solid contributor on offense but not a star.
 
great arm...saw him live many times as I vacationed in the NE when I was growing up. Not HOF material.

The one player who is not in the HOF who I think should be is Ted Simmons. Evans comes up just shy of consideration.
