I'm planning on going to the Lions game vs. the Chargers on December 24 and was wondering where are the best places to park? (price, distance from field)

I haven't been to Ford Field so advice is appreciated.

small lots all over......west of I-75, around $20/25.....shuttle from Eastern Market..probably the best tailgating spot......http://prod.static.lions.clubs.nfl.com/assets/pdf/2010-parking-map.pdf....many lots not shown just across I-75 from FF

Park in the greektown casino parking garage and get it validated. Free and secure, only a few blocks away, and hit a bar or the casino on the way back to the car.

I heard you can just park at MGM for free, so I might do that.

Parking garage at the corner of the Fisher Freeway and Woodward is $20 bucks, safe, and right across the street from Comerica/Ford Field. Every lot in the same area is $30-$35. No tailgating though but I'd rather hit up Greektown or the Elwood anyways.
