Dontrelle Willis retiring

it's official. Dontrelle Willis has retired. He was a near-Cy Young and 22-game winner at age 23. Now he's 30, and he's done.
 
Last 3 years he posted a stellar 0.89 K/BB ratio (7.1 BB/9).

Although the trade will always be worth it because of Miggy.

Too bad he could not get over the anxiety thing, I always liked D-Train even before the Tigers got him. Had a lot going for him, good lefty stuff, and could hit too.
 
Still one of the best trades we ever made. I dont even think the Marlins kept any of the players they got more than 2-3 years. It is sad he couldnt fix his issues because he looked like he was going to be amazing when he was 22.
