This blog sums it up nicely. To be blunt, MSU and UW just don't have the cache to draw huge interest. Actually pretty terrible that they could not capitalize on the regional appeal as well. Coaches poll out - mich at 16, msu at 9
As I posted in the other poll thread, the win was great for us but rather ho-hum nationally. OSU is just another middle of the pack B1G team this year and we were "supposed to beat them." Oddly enough we would have beat the point spread if Fitz's TD would have stood (it was a TD damn it!).- michbsn

If UW beats MSU in the B1G (which I believe they will) we will move ahead of MSU in the BCS standings. One thing we have to keep in perspective is that as satisfying as yesterday's win was for us, nationally OSU was just another middle of the pack B1G team this year.
