    Burleson Restructures

Stafford is next. I'm just hoping that he doesn't try to stick it in the Lions ass. He holds all the cards in these negotiations and could get $20+ million a year. I'm hoping maybe Tom Lewand is able to show him that the Lions are using there cap space unlike other teams and we're able to get...

Why are they still saying the Lions are only $2million under the cap. Cutting Peterman, KVB, and restructuring Doms deal has us $8million under I thought?

Sheffler's chances of playing for the Lions in 2013

I just wanted to pass on this article to you guys. I hope we move on from Sheffler also and put that money to good use. http://thesilverdomeblues.com/on-the-bubble-tony-scheffler/

    Your Lions Offseason

Backus' play really took a hit last year. He use to be an average run blocker and an above average pass blocker. Now he's a below average run blocker and an average pass blocker, he hit the wall, just like any other 13 year vet. I'm predicting that he either retires or restructures (takes a pay...

If we were to bring in Long, it would force the Lions to make a business decision, and they never do that. Cut Backus, save $7 million against the cap and give it to Long. Pipe dream for sure, only teams like NE and GB make those types of moves to improve the team from an aging vet.

    McShay/Kiper v2.0

There's only so many holes you can fill through the draft and with us being in the cap situation that we are, its not in our best interest to spend a huge percentage of it on corner. Safeties are our biggest need, not corners considering that we didn't do to bad against teams with the guys we...

    McShay/Kiper v2.0

So you think our money is better spent at one position when both of your starting DEs and OLBs are FA, while also replacing RT, RG, and C. We also don't have any safeties either, Speivey's career is over and Delmas has yet to play a full season. I see a 13-3 season if we could just fix that one...

    McShay/Kiper v2.0

We don't have the ability to overpay. I know Bartell has a track record of being below average and who knows if that was scheme or coaching related, but the sample size of him shutting down Marshal in the last game of the season just stuck with me. Some of the passes that Marshal did catch...

    McShay/Kiper v2.0

Bartell did great matched up against B. Marshal in the last game of the season. Next year we'll have a unique situation at corner if we resign Houston. Houston is better suited for the burners of the league, Harvin, Cobb, ect. and Bartell is a big physical corner who matches up well against the...

    McShay/Kiper v2.0

Couldn't agree more, BPA is opinion based, so whoever they draft will be "BPA". Mayhew admitted last year that he over estimated the talent on the team, so they drafted for the future. This year he'll be filling holes.

    McShay/Kiper v2.0

I disagree. Jonte Green improved throughout the season and Bentley is built for the nickle and should make Lacy expendable (I know, doesn't say much, but does save money).
