Every team has that. But most teams also have them top 3 contracts on guys who have performed. Guys who aren't on rookie deals and have proven their worth. I think it's a clear sign that this team had 3 top 2 picks in a 4 year span when the rookie pay scale was at it's highest. If Suh and Stafford were drafted under the current CBA the Lions would have around another 15 million in Cap Space. If not more.- zay44

About 2 million from what I read. But they save 5 million in releasing him. After Young, KVB and Peterman were released the Lions saved about 8.5 million.- zay44
