    I disagree Too much negativity. I actually think Ausmus has done a reasonable job. We are tied for the 2nd wild card. We have had a lot of injuries. Winning two out of three is a hell of a job in Kansas City. I'm not sure any other manager would have done any better of a job w/ this team...

    It's a blessing because the team we have now will never do it. Not saying it's a sure thing but we need some prospects, period. By the way we're only a couple of moves a way from contending next year.

    From 2006 - 2015 D.D. Strategy has worked. Right now we r starting to feel the effects. But for a decade we have experienced the golden age of Tiger baseball. Although 2 World Series wins would have been nice.

    I haven't seen much chatter on this board about firing Joyner. What is the difference between Joyner and McClendon. Right now, I'd take Lloyd as the hitting coach. Although, does it really matter.

    Good moves I might be in the minority but I think D.D. Did a good job over the Winter meetings. Cespesdes will be a huge upgrade over Hunter. Porcello would be no better than Simon or Greene. We've upgraded our defense and the AL Central will still go through us.

    How many of u were like me thinking we would be better off without those 2. I am surprised there isn't the outrage on this board like their would if Leyland and Mac were still our coaches. I don't know if we can overcome our lack of clutch hitting. Very depressing right now being a Tiger fan.

    Wouldn't be surprised if D.D. got another reliever (Bastardo-Phillies). I hope we do but what will D.D. have to give up? Losing Thompson hurt but we had to give up something.

    I'm not at all surprised by this news. By the way any doctors on this board? How long does it take to fully recover from Miggy and JV's injuries? By the end of this season, next year or never because they r getting older.
