1. A lot more people will remember Galarraga's near-perfect game than the 24 actual ones.

2. Do perfect games count against teams at bad as the Oakland A's?

3. Milt Wilcox nearly had one for the Tigers in 1983. Against the White Sox, and Jerry Hairston spoiled it with an actual hit for CF with two outs in the 9th. The night before, I dreamt he was going to pitch one, so I guess I jinxed him.

4. Wait, the Tigers do have a perfect game! Billy Chapel -- in his last-ever start in his career!
