Hall of Fame Knuckleballer Phil Niekro dead at 81 - That's 7 HOF'ers in 2020

Niekro was the seventh member of Cooperstown to die in 2020, following Lou Brock, Whitey Ford, Bob Gibson, Al Kaline, Joe Morgan and Tom Seaver.
It is the most Hall of Famers to die in a calendar year, according to spokesman Jon Shestakofsky.
“These names, and these men, will be remembered forever in Cooperstown,” he said.
