This isn't new of course, but we've got another case of corporations and politicians butting heads this week with the Georgia state gov and delta and coke.

Socialism is government ownership of the means of production. That ain't ever happening. We've crossed over to corporations telling the government what to do, which is not being told what to do by the government, which is definitely not being owned by the government.

Being afraid of socialism in America is like being afraid of a wild shark sneaking up on you and biting your leg in Kansas.

It says something about the need to fix our capitalist economy that we've got so many people running around being pro-shark bite at this point, but it doesn't mean we need to worry about sharks.

"Critics questioned why Delta and other companies did not speak out before Kemp signed the restrictions into law. None of the companies disclosed any concrete steps they might take in response to the law."

because they are using this PR stunt to make you think they are progressive minded and not composed of sociopathic greed heads?

Coke and Delta have government affairs teams that monitor every single state and federal law at all stages of the process. If they wanted to, they could've actually lobbied against this way sooner. They don't actually care though.

I'm not saying that. They are reacting to what they think customers want to hear and what they are willing to be told.

I'm just saying that this is so far from socialism I can't believe anybody worries about the US being too socialist.

maybe it's in their business plan. Make planes that crash so they need to be replaced with new planes.

Ah yes, the Apple iPhone approach. Planned obsolescence. It's not surprising other companies would follow suit.
