The DC Search Is AFoote

Multiple sites reporting that Harbaugh reached out to Larry Foote, current Tampa Bay OLBs coach, to become the next DC. It would be a co-DC role as Clinkscale is going to be co-DC with whomever they hire. It is in his contract that he would be should the defense hit its marks and they did.

Byron Leftwich is interviewing for HC gigs in the NFL and there's word that Leftwich is very high on Foote and wants him as his DC wherever he ends up.

Would be cool to see Foote back in the Maize and Blue, but if Leftwich really wants him as his DC, that's going to be tough to overcome with Michigan offering a co-DC role.
