In his efforts to rebuild the Tigers? roster, PoBO Scott Harris made a large number of waiver wire acquisitions. He also made 3 trades.

In exchange for Joe Jimenez, he acquired Justyn-Henry Malloy and Jake Higginbotham. Malloy is expected to make the team later this season.

He also traded Gregory Soto and Kody Clemens and got Nick Maton, Donny Sands and Matt Vierling in return. Soto is 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA. Clemens is hitting .200.

Meanwhile, Maton is hitting .163 but he leads the team in both HRs and RBIs. Sands is in AAA for catching depth. Vierling leads the team in BA and has 1 of the top slash lines.

Harris acquired Zach McKinstry in exchange for giving up a minor league pitcher. Zach has the team?s best slash line.

Pleasantly surprised by the win total. A couple players are hitting And the pitching has been much better than I would have thought. ARod, didn't see that coming.
