This team is so hard to root for.

A pickle between 2nd and 3rd, its anout 99% of the time, but nope. baez runs into the baserunner, he's safe, & now they have the lead.

Fuck this shit. Am out.

IDK power been off at my house, guess it happens every whree these days. Final score on the computer 5-6 kittens loses. They seem to play a bunch of one run loss games! Foolly, has been fooling us pretending to be a relief pitcher, lately. Maybe he wants to be traded?.

You know how MLB keeps track of the walk off win. How many games has kitten has struck out to end a game? Maybe that's a stat we should keep track of. Kittens probably lead it.

Spencer Turnbull threw 3 innings today in his second rehab start for West Michigan whitecaps. He gave up a leadoff single and a 2-run HR off a first-pitch fastball, but retired his final 7 batters, including 4 K?s. 33 pitches, 25 strikes.

Jace Jung hammers his second Double-A home run! 105 mph off the bat.

Tigers are planning for Matt Manning on Tuesday and Eduardo Rodriguez on Wednesday.
A.J. Hinch said the Tigers didn't want to schedule Eduardo Rodriguez to pitch on deadline day
"We don't want Eduardo dealing with the unknown. I have no idea what's going to happen. The trade deadline is at 6 o'clock. We play at 7. It's totally unfair to him to have to juggle."

Minnesota loses 5 games in a row. And Harris sits and Twiddles his thumbs.

Btw.

Skubal is a subpar defender right now. . He gives up a 0-2 Triple then 4 runs later which included not covering first base for the 2nd out the Marlins tie game at 4-4 and then lose 8-6. Skubal?s up side is something. But when he falls apart it?s a damn cave in. He needs to stay focus so he can win a few starts in a row ! ?

Run down today in which Baez was called for running into the runner was bullshit.
Replay clearly shows runner Initiating contact.

Also

O?s rebuild took only 5 years and are light years ahead of the tigers rebuild?Just shows what a crappy owner Chris and his family are.
Baltimore?s Minor league system is so far ahead of the Tigers sadly.

The fact they only won 52 two years ago says its possible to get it done quicker.

Top Tiger hitters for the month of July by wRC+ (min. 50 PA).
1. Riley Greene - 165
2. Miguel Cabrera - 114
3. Spencer Torkelson - 111
4. Kerry Carpenter - 108
5. Jake Rogers - 91
6. Matt Vierling - 91

Top Tiger pitchers in the month of July by FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching) (min. 10 IP)
1. Tarik Skubal - 1.34
2. Jason Foley - 2.37
3. Michael Lorenzen - 2.39
4. Tyler Holton - 2.59
5. Eduardo Rodriguez - 3.23
(league average FIP is 4.21)
Why use FIP?
FIP is similar to ERA, but it focuses solely on the events a pitcher has the most control over -- strikeouts, walks, hit-by-pitches and home runs. It entirely removes results on balls hit into the field of play.

Remember this game guys??

July 31, 2011: Two of the best pitchers in the American League face each other, as Detroit's Justin Verlander faces off against Los Angeles' Jered Weaver, both looking for their 15th win.
Verlander takes a no-hitter into the 8th inning, while Weaver loses his cool after Carlos Guillen hits a 7th-inning homer; he throws a pitch over the head of the next batter, Alex Avila, and is ejected. Verlander and the Tigers prevail, 3 - 2.
