DEEPER DISCUSSIONS.
Totally Tigers
Last week, Tiger players were seen laughing during a game in which infielder Kody Clemens was once again asked to pitch in a game. He struck out Shohei Ohtani with a 68 MPH pitch. The Tigers lost the game 10-0. Less than 48 hours earlier, they lost 12-2.
Clemens has now pitched 3 times in less than 7 days.
The Tigers are again on their way to another 100-loss season and 1 of MLB?s 3 worst teams.
When a team is playing that poorly, is it OK to be laughing in a game in which you are being thrashed and embarrassed? When the roster is so poorly constructed that players are being used in unusual situations?
Or is this a chance for everyone to use laughter as therapy and help relieve some of the stress?
What do you feel is appropriate?
Today?s blog addresses this dilemma and allows readers to share their thoughts in more detail. And hopefully, to actively engage with others by responding to their posts and creating back-and-forth discussion threads. The more the merrier!
For this one blog only, you?ve got 6 sentences max to share your thoughts.
Of course, you can respond to as many other readers as you want.
TT will supply the ammunition. One thought-provoking question. Several options provided. One hard choice to be selected. One vote.
