Tigers vs. A's Game #84, July 4, 2023

They are losing to these shitbums,

0 for 7 risp

Marisnick on second.

getting shutout by the a's is inexcusable.

short stands there like a f'n mannequin.

shit.

Tigers lose to a 63 loss team. Team gets great pitching and fails it again.

AJ with another terrible lineup. You just can?t explain playing Haase over carpenter.
A?s lefty singled off a lefty for the win. Haase is a horrible player who can?t hit anymore at all.
Aj doesn?t play for the tie in the 10th is not good managing. It is stupid.
Tigers have a 4-3 road trip and come back get a off day and give ups this shit.

Miggy making last out in 9th forced Hinch's hand to stick with Haase to leadoff the 10th. And he can't bunt.

No it didn't. Next guy struckout. Hit scores guy from 2nd or 3rd.

It?s possible a hit will not score the runner from second.
But he will score from third that is for sure.

I would have payed for the tie but with this teams track record with runners on third
And less the 2 outs I doubt we would have scored so I don?t really care anymore.

Tigers have three 1-0 losses this season. AJ uses some really subpar lineups
Carpenter is the future not Haase. He needs at bats against lhp.

Tigers 0 - Athletics 1: Run support? We don?t need no stinking run support.
Oh, we do?

Tigers allow only two hits in Skubal's debut, but lose 1-0 to A's in 10 innings.

Tarik Skubal, Reese Olson dominate, but Detroit Tigers strand too many runners in 1-0 loss.

Tarik Skubal is terrific in return, but Tigers suffer frustrating loss to A?s.

When you can?t score suns you have to manufacture a run anyway possible.
Game was lost because Spencer could get a sac fly in the 8th.

I?d rather see the 2 guys in the minors bat over Haase and a few other guys playing with the tigers right now.

Oakland gets their first shut out of the year as the Tigers bats waste a perfect pitching effort from Tarik Skubal and Reese Olson.

Isn't that a kick in the balls. oakland's first shutout has to come against our Tigers.

Skubal - 4 IP | 0 H | 0 ER | 0 BB (1 HBP) | 6 K | 57 pitches - 41 strikes

Olson - 5 IP | 1 H | 0 ER | 1 BB | 5 K

Bob, there might be some manipulation on the Tigers part for bringing up Keith.

Fast guy on 2nd, not directly at defender. Easy run. And Hasse doesn't know how to bunt..

Can you imagine this rule of runner on second in extras in the mid-1970s through 2000? We'd see players swiping third, rather than batters laying down sac bunts.
