The Tigers announced the following roster moves:

Placed RHP Rony Garc?a on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder soreness.

Recalled RHP Garrett Hill from Triple A Toledo.

Tigers first base coach Gary Jones is out with COVID. Mike Hessman will coach first tonight.

Another day, another Tiger goes to the IL. The total now? 20 players unable to play. 6 of them are out for the rest of the year. At what point does this stop being classified as bad luck and point to something else going on within the organization?

My favorite quote I heard earlier this season:

Detroit Tigers' injuries piling up like bodies in a Stephen King book.

Is always like this, has to be the medical team. Especially when players injured get delayed coming back and delayed some more only to eventually have surgery. They're quickly becoming the Detroit Lions, never get better.

Tigers were 20 games under .500 and yet beat a team that was 11 games over .500 winning 12 to 4.

Miggy's HR a cherry on top of Tigers' 12-run outburst.
Haase (slam), Candelario (2 HRs) highlight Detroit?s offensive eruption.

This is the first time all season the Tigers have hit 4 home runs in one game. They had hit 3 in one game just three times.

It looks like the Tigers have re-signed Jacob Barnes. Detroit released him on June 18th, and then he spent the next few weeks with Seattle before being designated for assignment.

Eric Haase also has 30 HR and a 105 OPS+ in his past 158 games (dating to the start of 2021).
Teams asking about Haase, watch AA give him away for a good field no hit backup infielder.

Is this Tigers reliever on the trade block?

Haase is a nice bench player. Fills a backup role in the outfield and at catcher. I don?t care if they trade him but they better not get burned again

There's another reason Haase is a backup. About tossed a ball into RF for an error on a routine play to 1B
