I want to clarify my viewpoint on Torkeslon..am I worried about him..NO
Do I think he needs to get a ton more rhythm in his set up and swing.. 100% YES
Does he need a small tweak in his attack angle..absolutely.
Does he need to be more aggressive earlier in the count..100% yes.

Wentz has lost 3 MPH on his FB..and it hurts him..these cutter also need to be down..and either backdoor the plate away or run of the plate inside.
If I had one hope for Joey Wentz this offseason..I would truly stress conditioning..needs to not lose velocity and be prepared to throw 140 consistent innings..has as much upside and repetoire variety as anyone on the staff...player dev have optimized the hell out of him in 2022.
If Wentz can command the baseball like he has this month..he is the Tigers second best pitcher going into next year.
a tip of the cap to the Detroit Tigers player development staff on Joey Wentz..you took a marginal command intriguing stuff guy..which in the end only ends up breaking your baseball heart..and turned him into something very intriguing..one more coat of polish..and damn..
