This homestand doesn?t do much for me for next season. These players have hit the wall and they do not look good. Everyone on the team is going through the motions. There is no energy, no fire. Nothing but a bad baseball team sadly.

They are out of it nothing to play for.

Seems to me there are a lot of guys playing for jobs next season. This team has so much dead weight that needs to be cut. Do not see many leaders right now. It is not acceptable to be this flat as a team in your home park. It is rather embarrassing.

Toledo is playing for nothing. It just shows the tigers don?t want to start the clock on these players. Has to be frustrating for them because they know they are better hitters then most of the guys playing right now in Detroit.

I was really asking for the future outlook of filling the infield positions. Is he good enough to be a plus defensive 2B? At least league average?

I know it's REALLY early, but how great would it be if Meadows is another guy to build around? Greene, Tork, Carpenter, and Meadows. If Keith or Malloy pan out too, that could be a great young core group to build around.

If anything he can play some defense. My guess he he'll hit some homers but is probably a below average hitter. I do like his swing - if he can go with the pitch and not pull everything maybe he can hit. Pitchers learn fast if you become a pull hitter.

I know it'll be awhile before Max Clark moves up to the major leagues but he's a natural CF. So if Parker does progress well at the plate he probably becomes a LF.

what a great problem that would be! Having Greene be your "worst" defensive outfielder.
