Will a Stone Still Roll without its Beat?

We?ll see.

Charlie Watts departed, age 80.

Dang. He was, in my humble opinion, an underrated drummer.

A couple weeks ago, I saw a blurb that he backed out of a stones concert for health reasons. Sounded like it was a mild thing.

He lived a pretty long life for a Rolling Stone...

I guess Mick is already 78 though (had to look it up), and Keef is 77 (ditto).

I expect some tribute concert in Charlie?s honor very soon.

Sometime ago 10-15 years he was diagnosed with throat cancer. Eventually it went into remission. It might have been that. Rest in peace rolling stone.

Something like "a Rolling Stone gathers moss" would have been a good thread title. Lots of options.
