Oregon game

Too bad. They were a better team, we had our chances but just got beat. Turnovers killed ua

Name one school in the conference that has played well against decent competition this season.

Wisconsin: choke against LSU
MSU: dominated by Oregon
Michigan: getting embarrassed by ND
Nebraska and Iowa can barely beat FCS teams at home
Northwestern loses to a 1-11 Cal team and loses to NIU
Purdue gets killed at home by CMU
OSU gets scare from Navy, down 2 TDs at home to average VA Tech team

It's the way we lost it, I agree with JScott, the B1G sucks but this wasn't the dagger, I've said it the last few years

Big 10 laying an egg today. MSU gets beat bad, Neb squeaks by McNeese, CMU beats Purdue, N Ill beats NQ, UM losing by 28 and OSU losing at home at the 1/2.

BIG 10 SUCKS. Even if MSU runs the table they will probably be left out of the top 4

Never thought they would have so many defensive breakdowns. I thought Cook and Langford would have played better also.

Score looked ugly, but it was a good game until the very end. Oregon is good, I think that play when they were down 10 and it was 3rd and 10ish and we had Mariota wrapped up and he got away and converted changed the whole game.

We got burned looking at the screen pass twice while another receiver runs a go rout and scores a TD. The secondary is a little weak.

We crapped the bad as an offense in the second half. It hurts, but I'll feel better if we run the table...and the fact that they come to EL next season.

That last td hurt. It was a closer game than the final score indicates. We were still in this game midway through the 4th. But they might look at that final score 3 months from now and it looks much worse than it was.

Jesus man you didn't have to list them all out. Way to kic Ohio Valley er B1G while they are down.

lost by 19 and couldn't stop them in the 2nd 1/2. It was as bad as the score

Unless Nebraska or Iowa go undefeated (very unlikely) and we beat them in the big ten championship we are not getting in the playoffs. I just don't see it happening.

We gassed, we were winning and pretty much dominating, then we tired in the 110 degree hear on the field. All credit to Mariota though, he escaped and made that shovel pass and that turned the game. Would live to play Oregon again!

Proud of the Spartans and think we are easily the class of the conference an a top ten team.

Right! The shovel pass then the scramble for the first down. They were on the ropes then it was all downhill.

The 3rd quarter was a complete disaster (I blame the offense mostly despite the big plays for Oregon). We got killed in the 3rd but also got screwed - missed a pick play on that 1st TD and an obvious hold against Cooper on 3rd and 9 in their own half on the 2nd TD drive. Overall it wasn't poorly officiated game - we may have gotten away with a couple PIs - but bad calls at the wrong time didn't help.

Feel GREAT! We damn near dubbed you guys, beat the Vegas spread and our Super Star QB had a 2nd half Heisman performance.

"It's going to get ugly and it will happen early"

Well, MSU led at half and was still in a battle until midway through the 4th.

Also, I said "how stupid do you feel right NOW?" At the moment that was posted MSU led at half. So odds are you were feeling pretty dumb at that point in time.

I hate the shit out of your team and most of your bandwagon fans, but you have a hell of a team for sure, and a damn good QB. We will be ready in 2015 in East Lansing.

We were gassed in the second half and that was due to the two quick 3 and outs wr had, like I said in the other thread, we needed to run the ball and jeep their offense on the sidelines.

We didn't execute in two key areas, one against oregon 3-4 and the other was turnovers. If we weren't going to control the clock then we needed to win the turnover battle.

Like I said above, the o-line stinks - they were completely dominated in the second half put the load on the defense and cost us the game. but now we're gonna go out and run the ball against a bunch of crap B1G defenses and the johnny2x's of the world are going to talk about how great it is and how Oregon was just an anomaly.
