White Sox @ Tigers Game #12

I hate to bring it up because I've been the one bitching about it still being brought up, but if we still have Fister there's a good chance none of those 3 are on this team.

Yeah so..are you saying the Fister trade was worth it then?

10-2..4 consecutive series wins to start the year..Not bad

Not bad at all!

How does that comment even make sense? Has ANYONE ever complained about not having Maybin?

The point being a trade is bad stays bad. The Fister trade still sucks even if we got other guys. IMO, Green, Simon are because we lost Max, Porcello. Price could be gone after the year. So I'm sure the Fister trade had any barring on getting Green or Simon.

Simon will be a FA next year as well and it's not like he will be a spring chicken either. Tigers could have some shoes to fill next season. Lobstein really needs to step it up this season.

Great day. Nice bounce back win after yesterday's beating. Good to see. My only gripes (just for the sake of complaining about something) I thought VMart should have been yanked out of the game around the 4th inning. But it's probably one of those things that isn't really going to heal itself with rest. He's going to look hobbled all year. And JD misplayed the shit out of that ball. With 2 outs you either need to make sure you keep it in front of you or lay out and dive for the ball. Obviously no biggie...and I'm guessing neither he nor Greene knew about the scoreless streak to start a Tiger career BS.

Fister and Scherzer leading the way for ERA in the National League while Greene and Price are second and third behind Martinez in the AL. All these former Tigers and current Tigers dominating their leagues in pitching so far. Imagine if we still had that group together. I'd like Fister and Max over Verlander and Sanchez. That would be an all time great rotation. I think we could win 115 games with that rotation and this offense. It's nice to dream lol

Tigers beat the whiteshitsox 9 - 1.

What would it be if NL pitchers retiring pitchers were subtracted from the stats I wonder.

Best recorded in baseball and only a 1 game lead in the Div after 12 games, looking like it might be one hellva dog fight this year.

Victor is very brittle. I don't see him lasting long into the 4 year contract. Could be another Carlos Guillen type thing.

Greene is the first Tigers pitcher since Jack Morris in 1984 to go at least 'seven' innings and allow one or fewer earned runs in his first three starts.

KC beats the A's today. Funny enough the Astros are in 1st place at 6-6 in the West...only team at .500 or better.

From what I understand it doesn't really bother him batting from the right. Which is why he played until a RHP came in to pitch.

I would think Vmart batting right against a RHP is still better than Hernan Perez.
