The Official Purdue vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

We finally got a first down on a well designed and well executed play that was the perfect play in the situation...except for the fumble.

That's progress.

Baby steps.

Oh...and if we had recovered that fumble instead of not having recovered it...that would have been an additional 20 or so positive yards.

So just next time we have to recover our fumbles instead of not recovering them.

That's setting the bar low.

The other problem is that our coaching staffs throughout the years have shown a maddening tendency to stop doing things that work.

That, and the offense kills itself with fumbles and dumb penalties.

Good lord, that last series was ridiculous.

I made a whole thing about doing stuff that works and not doing stuff that doesn't.

Instead of getting sacked, don't get sacked.

Instead of fumbling.

Instead of not scoring touchdowns, score touchdowns instead.
