    Prince Fielder thoughts?

    They over paid for him. He is average hitter at best and a below average fielder. Don't even get me started on his pathetic baserunning skills. He needs to be moved to DH but then what to do with Martinez who is far more valuable.

    The Lions as an organization has rewarded mediocracy for decades. That goes all the way down to the field. The players walking off the field did not even look upset. When Payton Manning or Tom Brady walks off the field after a loss their head is hanging and they are upset, not these clowns...

    Lions 31-17 I think this is a good team to start off on the road against. They are good but definetely beatable if the offense plays as they should.

    If the Tigers do not start pitching better across the board then there is not even a reason to talk about the playoffs, which is a sad reality. The pitching is not good right now, at all. Time for the Veterans like I can't get anyone out Verlander to man up and get it figured out.

    I don't want to see stuckey on the team to start the season. His poor attitude does nothing for the team and he is not going to see much playing time which will make it even worse.
