Detroit Tigers vs. Seattle Mariners, at Comerica Park, June 23, 2016 Matchups, Tickets, Preview.
Baseball Reference

No injuries for either DH Victor Martinez or CF Cameron Maybin but Tigers want to err on the side of caution, using rest to spell then when allowed. At Martinez' age, and considering his previous knee issues, they'll try to give him days off occasionally. Same is true for Maybin, who has battled both quad and wrist injuries this season. Team doesn't want either to linger and become more serious.

Yep. I still hate Nelson Cruz.

Dirty f'n cheater, they should be banned for 2 years and come back at the minimum salary for a year when they can return.
I send this to cruz on twitter when the Tigers play the team he is on;
eres un tramposo puto sucio que debe han sido prohibido durante dos a?os por uso de esteroides. Vete a la mierda. pedazo de mierda.

J Up caught at the fence off cano's bat.

Ausmus better watch Norris close next inning.

This diaz knows he threw at Upton. He has that scum fuck look on his face like that pos ventura on the royals.

The first two pitches to Kinsler in the ninth were outside. F'n home plate ump Andy Fletcher must be in a hurry to get to happy hour at the bar.

Iggy walks,

Miggy pops to right,

Nick flys to shalow center, basket catch by second baseman with back to infield,

extra innings.

James McCann: Launched a two-run homer into the visiting bullpen in the fourth, giving the Tigers a 4-1 lead.

Justin Upton and Steven Moya: Both smoked RBI doubles in the second to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead at the time. Both also drew a walk, and Upton saved Norris’ fifth frame on an inning-ending grab to rob Robinson Cano of a home run.

Miguel Cabrera: Had an 0-for-4 day with two strikeouts. One of those strikeouts was in a bases-loaded situation.

Daniel Norris/Bruce Rondon: Separately, they were both mediocre and not combustible. But combined, they allowed four runs and it put the Tigers in a tied-game situation.

STATS AND INFO:
Thursday was the first time Daniel Norris has given up three home runs in one major league start. He's given up two in a game just twice with Detroit: April 9, 2015 vs. Yankees, and Aug. 19, 2015 vs. Cubs. The Tigers won both games anyway.

James McCann’s home run was his fifth of the year. Four of those homers came against left-handed pitching.

Miguel Cabrera is 0-for-8 in bases-loaded situations this season, and he’s batting just .157/.310/.229 against left-handed pitching this year.

Since giving up four runs to the Athletics on May 28, Alex Wilson has a 1.38 ERA with only two runs allowed. Both came during a blowout loss to the Royals.
Alex Wilson hasn’t allowed a run in nine of his last 10 outings, and he’s struck out nine batters.

The Tigers swept the Mariners for the first time since September 24-27, 2012.
