We seem to be carrying a lot of bullpen arms. So why the fuck did Lowe pitch again today after he was the only guy in yesterday? Are we just giving up on games now?

Alex Wilson: Two scoreless innings with a strikeout and only one hit allowed.

Anibal Sanchez: Five innings of four-run ball on five hits, two walks, and three strikeouts. Messy.

Tigers offense: Lifeless against Carrasco. Three hits in seven, and only Nick Castellanos reached base twice ? he had a walk and a single in the second. They finished with four hits on Miguel Cabrera?s ninth-inning single.

Mark Lowe: Served up a monster homer to Francisco Lindor in the eighth and wasn?t all that sharp. He gave up another in the ninth.

STATS AND INFO:
The Tigers have lost their eighth straight game to the Indians this year.
Carrasco shut down 10 of the last 11 Tigers batters he faced.

Francisco Lindor had the first multi-homer game of his career at Comerica Park, and the second landed in the Belle Tire. That ball was hit off Mark Lowe, who is still pretty bad.

The Tigers were shut out for the sixth time this season. Their last shutout was on June 10 in a 4-0 loss to the Yankees.

There are 354 players with at least 75 at bats. Aviles is ranked 349th with his .494 OPS. He should definitely play more Brad!!!
