LAA @ Detroit (Game 127)

Maybe the 2.9% currently being show on the MLB website includes another .7% chance of winning the Central Division.

MLB showed DET 60-66 2.9%

DET is now 60-67 2.3%, as shown on Fangraphs

Detroit leads the American League in runners caught stealing and grounding into double plays, and is among the leaders in both runners picked off and thrown out at the plate.

STREAKS AND STATS:

Miguel Cabrera's 11-game hitting streak was snapped on Thursday with an 0-for-3 day with three strikeouts. That also snapped a 12-game streak of reaching base safely.

Ian Kinsler's eight-game hitting streak was cut short as he went hitless, as well.

J.D. Martinez extended his hitting streak to seven games with a one-out triple in the eighth inning.

Need a new base running coach...

You mean replace Omar Vizquel?

The first base coach who is probably telling them to take a bigger lead?

The coach "rumored" to be our next manager?

Big lead means you are demanding that the pitcher throw to first so it's really difficult to get caught off guard ... (supposedly). The lack of fundamentals in this org is stunning.

Hire an outside manager and let him bring in a whole new staff. Cut 'em all.
