MARINERS (career numbers off Norris).

Nelson Cruz, DH (1-for-2, HR)
Dae-ho Lee, 1B (0-for-2, K)

As you probably heard by now, Cameron Maybin is headed to the disabled list with what the Tigers are calling a grade 2 sprain of his left thumb (second opinion pending to make sure). No word yet on who would be called up, other than manager Brad Ausmus reportedly saying it?ll most likely be a position player. For today, it means Andrew Romine gets the start in center against Mariners left-hander Wade LeBlanc.
The M?s, meanwhile, return shortstop Ketel Marte from the disabled list. He?s batting ninth tonight in a quite different lineup compared to last night?s series opener.

I think it's about time for upton to step up and help carry this offense through these injuries like I keep hearing poeple say he's capable of doing

Good start for Tigers 4 straight hits,

Tigers lead 2 - 0,

Miggy with a Home run, 26th on the year, and 296th with the Tigers,

2 RBI so far tonight Miggy now has 998 career RBI with the Tigers,

Tigers lead 3 - 0,

Seattle announcers are whining pretty bad about the strike zone...and so is LeBlanc. He keeps staring down the ump.

Feels like the tigers should have a lot more than three is this guy thier pelfrey?

I thought jd was going to catch that ball.
