Ian Desmond, CF.
Adrian Beltre, 3B (3-for-7, double, HR, 2 K?s).
Carlos Beltran, DH (1-for-3).

Jonathan Lucroy, C.
Mitch Moreland, 1B (3-for-8, double, HR).
Jurickson Profar, LF.
Elvis Andrus, SS (2-for-5).
P: Cole Hamels

Dixon Machado gets the start at shortstop in his first game back up in place of Jose Iglesias, but that?s just the start of the adjustments tonight.
With lefty Cole Hamels on the mound, Casey McGehee moves up to the second spot in the order.
Mike Aviles, 3-for-7 with two home runs off Hamels, gets the expected start, but in center field rather than short. It?ll be his fifth career Major League start in center, and his first since Aug. 28 of last season.
With Matt Boyd on the mound, Jarrod Saltalamacchia gets the start against the lefty; he has two homers against Hamels.

Aviles in centerfield, ausmus has totally lost it.

Birthday meal tonight so will miss early innings. Over and under for a Tiger win -1 tonight so that is a under. With the way the Tigers are being managed lately Ranger sweep possible!

Monroe says he thinks upton needs a day off,

They all just had a day off on Thursday

Aviles is an idiot. Zero reason to try and go to 3rd on that hit. Just an awful base running team

Lead off 4 pitch walk

Single to left and aviles thrown out trying to take third on a single to left? Yes because he's a dumbass

Called third for out number 2 on a pitch that looked high to me

High pop bloop single to right but salty out at home because of course he is

Once again tigers threaten but choke on a duck

The fucking base running of this team under Lossmus has been horrendously bad
