I was beginning to think that game would never end.

Also, WTF...letting the guy take 2nd and 3rd? Is the Shift that important when you let the guy get 90 feet from the plate for free?

The first guy I understand, dumb. But you gotta play defense on a guy over a run that doesn't matter.

Yeah I hate the strategy of letting guys take bases because it supposedly doesn't matter. It really bothers me (it bothers most of us) Doesn't make sense. Try to throw him out. There's still something psychological about NOT letting him score.
 
We have the top 4 batting average leaders in the AL right now. Iggy at .600, Kinsler at .455, Gose at .450 and Miggy at .429.
