The Cleveland Indians have right-hander Carlos Carrasco on the mound. But Brad Ausmus is going with Rajai Davis and James McCann in the starting lineup.
All eyes continue to be on Indians starter Carlos Carrasco, who is only two starts removed from an early-season scare.
When the big right-hander takes the mound against Detroit on Sunday, it will be his second start since being hit in the jaw by a line drive in a game against the White Sox. Carrasco looked sharp in his return for Cleveland on Tuesday, when he held that same Chicago team to one run in five innings with eight strikeouts.
Detroit will counter with lefty Kyle Lobstein, who beat the Tribe on April 12 and took a hard-luck loss against the Yankees on Tuesday. In that recent start, Lobstein limited New York to only one run over six innings, but Detroit's offense could not muster enough support for a win.
Things to know about this game:
? Indians All-Star Michael Brantley continues to look more comfortable in the batter's box after dealing with a back issue early on this season. With his 4-for-4 showing on Saturday, Brantley has posted a .419 (13-for-31) average over his past eight games for Cleveland.
? Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera has enjoyed some success against Carrasco, posting a .333 average with a homer, double and three walks (two intentional) in 21 career plate appearances against the righty. Detroit's Ian Kinsler has hit .313 (5-or-16) with three doubles against Carrasco.
? With the left-handed Lobstein slated to start for Detroit, utility man Ryan Raburn will return to the lineup for Cleveland. Heading into Saturday's action, Raburn was batting .381 (8-for-21) against left-handed pitching this season.
? Tigers great Lou Whitaker will hold a question-and-answer session with fans before the game at Comerica Park's Big Cat Court. Whitaker will also receive the 2015 Detroit Tigers African American Legacy Award in a pregame ceremony, and throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
